Cotswold Farm Park
One of the Country Idyll family’s favourite destinations, with beautiful countryside views and interactive animal encounters at every turn, visitors of all ages can learn about farming, past and present, in a relaxed and fun environment.
Rare Breed Conservation
As the home of rare breed conservation, there are over 50 flocks and herds of farm animals to meet whilst soaking up the surroundings and enjoying the countryside air.
Adam Henson The Nation’s Favourite Farmer
We are passionate about all that we do here and are dedicated to delivering the best of British farming, through a sustainable and authentic approach”.
The undercover barns with animal demonstrations, bottle feeding and adventure play can be enjoyed all year round and there’s plenty of entertainment for children, with a maze, zip wire, bouncy pillows and tractor school.
The 20 minute farm safari offers a fantastic way to get around the whole park, without leaving your seat. For those who are keen to make the most of their pedometers though, the 1 and 2 mile Wildlife Walks on the doorstep will certainly get their steps up.
School and Group Visits
We aim to combine hands-on learning with informative talks to really engage your students. The opportunity to get up close to our rare breed farm animals and take turns holding some of our smaller residents makes this a school trip to remember.
The on-site restaurant serves seasonal food (though picnics are also welcome), whilst the gift shop stocks the farm’s own meat and produce from local suppliers.
We open daily from 10am every day except Christmas Day and Boxing Day! For more details on this fantastic day out, please see our website.
