Country Idyll love finding new things to do in the Cotswolds, Cotswold archery is a small husband and wife business, that continues to give the chance of giving an archery experience to all members of the family.
We are based at Batsford Arboretum and give all potential archers the opportunity to try out the Olympic sport of archery, here we teach a two hour archery lesson, where the archer can use the three piece wooden training bow for the first hour, then move on to up to four other styles of bows from the metal handled recurve bow used in the Olympics, to a horse-bow or even the a Mongolian bow before having a small competition on our archery dart board face or shooting our Zombie torso target ‘Undead Fred’.
Minimum age of 8 yo no upper age limit.
We also have a mobile unit that can be set up at various locations should people request an archery range at their location, Cotswold archery have done this in a number of occasions and have proved to be very popular with all.
