Country Idyll at Yubbyfest
The Country Idyll family love nothing more than getting out in the Cotswolds attending local events and places to visit, we love to pass all the best places to go and events to attend on as recommendations to our guests – we live the Cotswolds and pass all our local knowledge on to our holidaymakers to offer bespoke holiday packages.
This weekend was the famous Yubby Fest put on by the Ebrington Arms. We headed down early this year to make the most of the glorious Cotswold weather. The Festival was a hub of preparation and the tent in the beer garden already in full swing with the band practising for the night ahead, much to the delight of our two girls who immediately jumped in and got down to the tunes.
As the festival started, the garden and driveway which was set up with BBQ’s, wine bar and my personal favourite the Cotswold Gin van (well it was International Gin Day after all) – the gardens started to fill with punters, ready to get in the festival spirit for the evening.
The children danced the evening away in the tent in the secure beer garden, leaving parents comfortable to relax and enjoy the surrounding.
A great time had by all – sadly we could not stay on into the evening as we did not have the foresight of arranging a babysitter (a lesson learnt for next year).
We would recommend you take enough cash though as we fell short and realise I rely far to heavily on cards – there is a £5 entry fee per adult and £7 per child and £10 per adult for the BBQ which all require cash.
