Set in an 18th century building next to the old Woolmarket in Chipping Campden, Michael’s Mediterranean brings a slice of Mediterranean culture to the Cotswolds. Here, traditional Greek cuisine is complemented by modern Mediterranean dishes. From an array of Mezze dishes, fresh fish, seafood and seasonal daily specials, to our renowned “Marathona” fillet steaks; all ingredients are locally-sourced where possible.

Chef & Restaurateur Michael Alexiou bought Woolmarket House in 1986 and transformed it into the charming and unique restaurant it is today. The relaxed and convivial atmosphere mean that over the last 30 years, Michael’s has developed a reputation for being a place to celebrate.
In the winter, two magnificent inglenook fireplaces give a warm and relaxing ambience to the restaurant. In the summer, guests can dine on the pretty, candlelit terrace, surrounded by Mediterranean plants and herbs.
