You will receive a beautiful welcome hamper upon arrival complete with local eggs, bacon, cake, pot of local jam, local butter, loaf of bread and milk. Located near the pretty Cotswold market town of Stroud, Hammonds Farm is nestled in 100 acres of grassy farmland, resident to a large herd of alpacas, small flocks of Cotswold and Zwartbles sheep and the two much-loved horses Betty and her foal Waffle.

The newly renovated farmhouse sits within landscaped gardens featuring pear and espalier apple trees, as well as a patio with one of the best views in the area to complement evening drinks at sundown.

A £250 cash security deposit will be required upon arrival and will be refunded upon departure upon successful check out.

Bedrooms

Our 6 beautiful bedrooms are spacious and have the most stunning dual aspect views of rolling green valleys. A world away from city life, and easily accessible from the M4 and M5 with ample parking. Stroud railway station is only a ten-minute taxi ride away, with hourly trains from London, Birmingham and Cardiff.

We have individually designed rooms within our farmhouse – Old Spot, Long Horn, Cotswold , Sebright, Appleyard & Clydesdale. The Old Spot, Cotswold & Sebright bedrooms have luxury wet rooms. Longhorn has a quality ensuite shower room, while Clydesdale and Appleyard both have a bathroom with a large bath, with a shower over it. All our bathrooms have floor to ceiling marble tiles, large rainfall shower heads (as well as the traditional hand held option), superb LED lit mirrors with built in de-misters, lovely underfloor heating and quality complimentary toiletries.

Alpaca Walking

Our alpaca walks lasting around 60 minutes. The maximum number of alpacas being walked at the same time will be limited to 8.  The prices for our alpaca walking is £25.00 per alpaca walker (or £36.00 for two people sharing one alpaca).  With advanced booking of a week for a group of five or more people wanting to walk the 5 or more alpacas, we are able to arrange a walk at a time that suits you.

Getting Here
Less than two hours by train from London, Birmingham and Cardiff, Hammonds Farm is nestled in a green valley just outside the pretty Cotswold market town of Stroud. We’re only 10 minutes off the M5 and 20 minutes from the M4, and have ample free parking.

Storage for bicycles is also available upon request. There is a boot scraper in the porch. An outside tap is on the wall to the left of the steps to wash muddy boots and bicycles.
